The September EL Bethel Temple Quarterly
is scheduled for distribution on Sept. 30th. Members are invited
to share summer “happenings” and advertise your businesses.
Please hand written information to either Ellen Stephens or Linda
Howard.
Mother Ann Farrow will be honored on the 15th of September by Gamma
Phi Delta Sorority at the Downtown Marriott Hotel. The cost is either
$35.00 per person or a group of 8 can purchase a table for $280.00.
The program begins at 11:00 am. You may contact either Sharon Gaines
or Mother Farrow for ticket information.
Pastor’s Appreciation is scheduled for October 8–10th
and October 13th. A revival will concurrently be held Monday, October
8–10th. A celebration luncheon is scheduled October 13th. The
assessment for the Pastor’s Appreciation is $100.00 per person.
Please note there is a separate cost for the luncheon (details forthcoming).
You can begin paying your assessment now by contacting either Deaconess
Ionie Fisher or one of the members of the Pastors’ Ministering
Team.
Holy Festival will be held October 31, 2007. A box has been placed
in the foyer for donations (candies, snacks, etc.).
The play “You Better Be Glad I’m Saved” featuring
Elder Sloan is scheduled for 7:30 pm, September 30th at Bob Carr
Auditorium. Discount tickets are on sale at www.ticketmaster.com
until Monday, September 10th. The discounted price is $30.00 + tax
(regular price 34.95 + tax).
Please note prayer is held at the church at 5:30 am Tuesday mornings
with Mother Abigail Mole, noon Wednesdays with Deaconess Bea Adams,
9:00 pm Thursday evenings with young adults, and 9:00 am Saturday
mornings with the Mothers. EVERYONE IS WELCOME AT ALL TIMES.
Mother Corean King has openings for 3 children, ages 1-3 years at
