EL Bethel Christian Academy (EBCA), a non-denominational institution, pursues excellence in every area of development. Although EBCA is the first African-American private school in the city of Orlando, we welcome all students of varying races and nationalities, embracing the priceless value of diversity. Since 1986 EL Bethel Academy has been involved in teaching an individualized curriculum and provided training in its implementation for grades K-12. Students are tested diagnostically upon entering EBCA using the School of Tomorrow program guide. Students are then placed in the curriculum in each subject at their own performance levels determined by the results of the diagnostic test. The unique format allows students to advance from unit to unit as they demonstrate mastery. Students move independently through the curriculum under the supervision of instructors.

THE FACULTY

Certified, competent, and godly defines the great staff at EBCA. Our staff is committed to God and our children. They are positive role models who generate hope for future generations. Scholastic achievement is a high priority, but each student’s spiritual, physical and social development is also of great concern to our administration.

In pursuit of excellence, the staff at EBCA understands they are shaping and influencing the minds of future leaders who will positively impact our communities, our cities, our states and our great country.

ACADEMICS

EL Bethel Christian Academy has an excellent approach to developing a child’s academic abilities. The unique set up of our program combines the ABeka curriculum and the A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) School of Tomorrow curriculum. These programs combine creative integration of values and individualized learning along with innovative classroom instruction. Our program prepares students to assess priorities, set goals, and assume responsibility for their choices.

EBCA also provides special tutoring for students with defined learning disabilities in the area of reading and writing. For further information, feel free to contact the academy at 407-648-1978.

MUSIC PROGRAM

The music program offers private piano lessons, choral music and dance.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

We offer a well-rounded Health and Wellness program, while incorporating sports and physical fitness. Our objective is to help students learn how physical activity can contribute to a prosperous, successful, and happy life.
