Choice Christian Greetings

Greetings Saints of the Beloved,

We were blessed above measure as we welcomed the new year 2008 in our annual watch night celebration. The presence of the Lord was evident and we worshipped and adored Him who is our Life.

We also officially kicked off our Jubilee Celebration with testimonies and a special award for the Prioleaus who were saved 50 years ago in the very first revival that started this ministry (1958), then Praise Temple Church of the Nazarene. We were all very excited to reach this stellar milestone in our ministry. Our upcoming convocation will continue to salute faithful servants of this ministry as we prepare toward our second Jubilee. Join us for this exciting calendar of events.

My family extends their best wishes to you this new year. May His peace settle in your lives ensuring the best life you can imagine. Please share this peace of God with others you love. Remember your pastors and leaders in your prayers as well.

MySpace Concern

Some of us are unaware of the social networking website called MySpace.com. We have issued a fact sheet with some information that will be helpful in managing your kids/young adults. Please know that they (your family) are in our prayers for a safer internet experience. Cheers!

CONVOCATION 2007 highlights

We were delighted to have Pastor Vergil Jones of Crusaders for Christ deliver our devotions each morning at 9:00 am Tuesday, July 10 through Friday, July 13 at our annual holy convocation. Pastor Jones and the lovely Lady Erie led wonderful and spirit-led lessons as our convocation pastors. Audio tapes will not be available for those wanting the experience or re-experience of pastor's dynamic teachings. Please contact the church office at 407-648-1975 for any questions.

We experienced an unusual treat as Mrs. Charlyce Thomas Simmons opened our convocation 2007 with her ministry in song and worship on Monday evening, July 9, 2007 at the Rainbow Church. Family Affair, a talented collection of cousins and relatives, were also featured in this gala event. You may be interested to know CDs and DVDs are available from this glorious time among the tribes.

We were blessed to engage the Tribes in prayer time during our daytime sessions of holy convocation. Taking our leadings from the theme itself, we permitted our Lord to lead us while and during prayer. The pastors/leaders who led our prayers were Pastors Linda Morris, David Arrington, Terry Childs, and Mother Valegia Postell.

We would like to express our appreciation for those who worked behind the scenes to make this convocation possible. They are Deaconess Jennie Thompson, Mother Valegia Postell, Deaconess Diana Mincy, Deaconess Ionie Fisher, the First Ladies Club, Sister Emily Sloan, the sound technicians, the ushers, the musicians, and Dr. Jamia Richmond. We would also like to thank the several members of the Tribes of EL Bethel who support this convocation. Without you, this annual celebration would not be possible. Thanks also to Bishop Wiley C. Wright, our foundation speaker with his team and the First Baptist Church staff for their assistance in making our foundation banquet a success.

Blessings on you,
